Overview

The trip starts in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, from where tourists will fly to Gilgit, a town nestled amidst the majestic mountains. Hunza Valley is the next stop, offering historical sites like Altit Fort and Baltit Fort alongside natural wonders like Attabad Lake. The journey continues to Passu village, known for its towering peaks, before reaching Khunjerab Pass, the highest border crossing between Pakistan and China. The second half of the trip goes through Gupis Phander Valley, a remote location accessible via the Karakoram Highway. Phander Valley showcases its breathtaking scenery. This remote valley offers a unique experience, a hidden gem nestled among the majestic peaks of Gilgit-Baltistan. The Autumn season in Phander Valley which lies from September to November, is considered shoulder season. This means there are fewer crowds and comfortable temperatures, with highs potentially reaching the temperature around 18-21 degrees Celsius and lows dropping to around 4-10 degrees Celsius at night. During the Autumn, Phander Valley transforms into a golden landscape as local trees change colour from pale Green to the Amber shade of Yellow colour. Unlike the high mountains that might not have the typical fall foliage, the valley showcases a vibrant display. This scene of the valley is the best scene for nature photographers and painters who want to capture the beauty of Autumn which is usually not associated with beauty as the spring is associated but in Phander Valley, the Autumn is as beautiful and vibrant as spring blossom.
